Gorakhpur - Siliguri Expressway: The government of India’s highly significant and aspirational project, the Gorakhpur and Siliguri Expressway, has finally moved a step closer to the construction work, with District Magistrate Sawan Kumar inspecting the fixed alignment area on Sunday. He directed the Raghopur Circle Officer to verify the plots along the alignment.

Gorakhpur-Siliguri Expressway To Cover Multiple UP, Bihar Districts

The Gorakhpur-Siliguri Expressway will traverse through several districts in Bihar, including Supaul, where it will pass through specific villages. The expressway will pass through several villages in the Supaul district.

Over 281 Hectares Of Land Acquisition

The expressway is expected to cover approximately 281.4802 hectares of land acquisition. To proceed with the project, District Magistrate Sawan Kumar has directed the Raghopur Circle Officer and other concerned officials to verify the plots along the alignment.
