Greater Noida: Guard-Delivery Worker Clash At Nimbus Society, Four Arrested After Video Goes Viral

Greater Noida News: A physical clash between a security guard and a delivery worker at a housing society in Greater Noida has led to the arrest of four people after a video of the incident spread widely on social media, police said.

The incident took place at Nimbus Society, under the jurisdiction of the Beta-2 Police Station. Police said the trouble began when a delivery worker reached the society’s main gate and accidentally rang the doorbell of the wrong flat. The resident alerted the security guard, following which an argument broke out between the guard and the delivery worker.

Situation Escalates Into Violence

What started as a verbal exchange soon turned into a physical fight. According to police, the delivery worker called some of his friends to the spot, which further escalated the situation. Two groups were seen kicking, punching and attacking each other using sticks and iron rods near the society gate.

Residents present at the scene recorded videos of the clash, which later circulated widely on social media platforms.

Police Take Suo Motu Action

Taking note of the viral footage, the police intervened and managed to calm both sides. Inspector-in-charge Vinod Kumar said neither party was willing to file a formal complaint. However, given the seriousness of the incident and public disturbance, police registered a case on their own.

Four Accused Arrested

Police arrested four people in connection with the clash. The accused have been identified as Rohan from Raipur Bangar village, Akash Singh from Sawapur in Aligarh district, Abhishek from Kasganj district and Rajesh Kumar from Talepur village in Aligarh district.

Investigation Underway

Officials said further legal action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation. Police have also warned that strict action will be initiated against those involved in violence, especially in residential areas.
