Gujarat News: A gas leak at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Gujarat's Vadodara resulted in four workers being hospitalised on Tuesday, police officials cited by news agency PTI said. According to the police, the workers had to be hospitalised after toxic gas leaking out of a pipeline was inhaled by them.

Following hospitalisation, their condition turned stable, a police official said. The incident took place at a factory located in the Nandesari GIDC area of Vadodara, the official informed. As per the official, several workers were present on the factory premises at the time of the incident.

The incident occurred around 8 am, he added. "Four workers inhaled gas leaking from a damaged pipe after it was unhinged from a joint. They complained of uneasiness, following which they were rushed to a hospital. Their condition is stable," the official stated.
