Gujarat Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday stated that several districts of Gujarat are likely to receive light to heavy rainfall till July 28. The weather department stated that while the coastal regions are expected to witness heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and gusty winds, the other regions are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall. The continuous rainfall is likely to provide relief from the scorching heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.
While providing details, the weather department stated that several regions, including Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Morbi, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Kutch, are set to witness rainfall on July 23 and 24.

Apart from this, multiple other regions, including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Banaskantha, Patan, Sabarkantha, Surendranagar, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Kutch, Surat, Tapi, Vadodara, Anand, and Kheda, are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall on July 25.
The weather department further stated that light to moderate rainfall is expected in several districts, including Amreli, Bhavnagar, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, and Valsad districts, which may receive heavy rain. While other districts, including Surendranagar, Kutch, Morbi, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Anand, Kheda, Vadodara, Rajkot, Mehsana, Banaskantha, Jamnagar, and Junagadh, were on July 26.

These regions are also likely to receive light to moderate rainfall till July 28. The IMD also stated that the vehicular movement is likely to be affected in several key areas due to waterlogging for the next few days. Apart from Gujarat, several other states, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar, are also set to witness rainfall for the next few days.
