Gurugram News: A speeding car hit a Mahindra Thar SUV in Gurugram on Monday, forcing it to climb up an electric pole and become trapped in an odd occurrence. Social media users shared images and videos of the incident, with some showing the Thar SUV slanting at the electric pole.

Several individuals can also be seen in the video surrounding the vehicle and taking photos of the incident.

A speeding Honda Amaze struck the SUV from behind at around 4 PM. After that, Aanchal Gupta, the SUV's driver, lost control of the vehicle and collided with an electric pole.

The Gurugram Police are now looking into the matter.

Aanchal Gupta, meanwhile, told India Today that the crash happened as she came out of a local gas station.

“I left the petrol pump, and right after I took a turn, a white Honda Amaze hit my car from behind. I diverted to the left because otherwise, there would have been further damage. However, my car went up the electric pole. Later, locals helped me come down, and I jumped from above,” India Today quoted her as saying.

In another incident on Monday, a 17-year-old boy died near Atul Kataria Chowk in Gurugram after he lost control of the car he was driving and collided with a flyover divider. The boy, who lives in Sector 14, was speeding when the collision occurred. He was headed to coaching courses in Udyog Vihar at approximately 11 AM, according to the police.
