Gurugram Tennis Player Killed: In a shocking incident, a tennis player, Radhika Yadav was shot dead by her father at her Gurugram home as he was upset her over a dispute related to a tennis academy being run by her. The incident took place at Sushant Lok, phase 2 of Gurugram, on Thursday.

The victim was a state-level tennis player. According to media reports, the accused fired five rounds at his daughter, of which two missed the target, but three hit her, claiming her life.

Tennis Academcy Cause Of Father's Anger

The father was arrested immediately after the crime. He was upset with his daughter over a tennis academy. Gurugram Police spokesperson Sandeep Singh said, "Today, at the Sector 56 police station in Gurugram, we received information from a private hospital about a girl who had suffered some bullet injuries. Upon police inquiry at the hospital, it was found that the girl’s name is Radhika, and she is approximately 25 years old. There was some dispute over a tennis academy being run by her."

Police said the accused has been arrested, and the gun used to kill the tennis player has also been seized. The probe is underway into the matter, he added.

A police team reached the house took the body into custody and launched a probe into the shocking murder. "We are questioning the family members. A probe is underway and the picture will be clear soon," said Inspector Vinod Kumar, SHO of the Sector 56 police station. 

Who Was Radhika Yadav?

Radhika, a state-level tennis player, was a known personality in her locality. The 25-year-old player had won several competitions.
