Gurugram Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds for Gurugram during the weekend. On Wednesday, the weather service issued a yellow alert for the same.

According to IMD, on April 18 and 19, isolated areas of the state will see winds of up to 30 to 40 kmph.

Meanwhile, the city's lowest temperature was measured at 26.4 degrees Celsius, up from 23.8 on Tuesday and 7.7 notches above usual, signifying a warm start to the day.

The highest temperature was 37.1 degrees Celsius, up from 35.4 the day before but still 0.1 degrees below usual.

Residents have been advised by authorities to take the appropriate safety measures, such as avoiding open spaces when lightning strikes and keeping abreast of the most recent weather forecasts.

The IMD will continue to monitor the situation and offer updates as appropriate, adding that residents should stay indoors due to the possibility of hailstorms in the area.

Weather In Delhi

Strong surface winds are anticipated to arrive in Delhi, alleviate the soaring temperatures over the next several days, and prevent scorching conditions due to western disturbances over the hills and a cyclonic circulation over neighbouring regions, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Delhi had a maximum temperature of 39.1 degrees Celsius (°C) on Wednesday, which was 2.3°C warmer than usual and higher than the 37.9°C recorded the day before. With a minimum temperature of 23.4°C, it was little colder than the 24°C recorded the day before.
