Assembly Election 2023: As Rajasthan assembly poll ears, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking on the tussle between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, said that there is no reconciliation despite hundred handshakes. He added that both of them are pretending to join hands but harbour bitterness. Speaking in poll-bound Rajasthan, PM Modi said that every mafia and every rioter considered himself no less than the Chief Minister of Congress government in Rajasthan in the last five years.

Addressing a rally in Nagaur, PM Modi said that Delhi Durbar was busy snatching away the chair of their own CM, and the CM was busy tackling it. They left the people of Rajasthan on their own, he added.

"Now, when elections are here, they are getting pictures clicked together half-heartedly...'Haath milan' event takes place here again and again. CM, the CM-in-waiting and other big leaders from Delhi come, they call camerapersons and then make them shake hands. They have made a century of handshake in 5 years. But no 'milaap' has taken place. There is sourness in their hearts but they shake hands as a sham. People say that there were a total of 100 CMs in Rajasthan. Every goon, every muscleman, every rioter considered themselves no less than the CM of Rajasthan...," PM Modi said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

PM Modi also accused Congress of verbally abusing him and added that the president of the Grand Old Party attacked his father. He said that his father passed away forty years ago, but Kharge abused him too. "What has happened to Congress?...Kharge ji, you were not like this, what has happened to you?...," PM Modi asked.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi accused Congress of "terrorism" and "atrocities" against women.

Attacking the grand old party over the alleged atrocities over the women in the state, PM Modi said, "Where there is Congress government, terrorism, atrocities, all these things, are unbridled there... For Congress appeasement is everything and for it, they can go to any level...".

Accusing Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot over the issue of the safety of women in the state, PM Modi said, "Congress has broken the trust of the women in the state. Can the CM safeguard the women of the state who himself is saying that women register fake rape cases... Such a misogynistic party should be punished..."

"Congress ministers have a low mentality toward the women of the state... They say this (rape) is happening because Rajasthan is a land of men," PM Modi said.

The PM said that the BJP has made a strong manifesto in Rajasthan and is resolved to improving law and order in the state.
