As many as six men and two vehicles were used in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar outside a gurdwara in British Columbia, reported The Washington Post after reviewing the video. The report said two people, out of the six, showered as many as 50 bullets on Nijjar and over 34 pierced his body. It said the operation was more organised than the previously reported ones.
The American daily further said the locals of the Sikh community said the investigation in the process was slow and they were not apprised much about the course of the probe into the June 18 killing. Several business owners in close proximity to the spot said they were not questioned by the authorities regarding the incident, The Washington Post reported.
Pandemonium erupted days back when the Canadian PM alleged the involvement of the Indian government in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Justin Trudeau, while addressing the parliament, said their agencies were actively perusing ‘credible allegations’ of potential links between agents of the government of India in the killing of a Canadian citizen (referring to the murder of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey on June 18).
India, however, rubbished the allegations as ‘absurd’ and ‘motivated’ but things turned hideous when Canada unilaterally suspended a senior Indian diplomat. As a reaction, India also expelled a Canadian diplomatic officer. Both countries even cautioned their citizens living/travelling in the two countries.

Khalistan sympathisers and supporters gathered in dozens outside the Indian Consulate in Canada's Vancouver to hold a protest against the killing of Nijjar. The protestors waved Khalistan flags, played music and shouted slogans and even destroyed and set ablaze the Indian flag in a garbage can outside the Consulate. Similar protests were held in Toronto as well.
