Nuh Violence: In order to maintain peace and public order, mobile internet services will remain suspended in three districts of Haryana including Nuh, Faridabad, and Palwal till August 5 as the situation remains tense after the communal clashes, the state government said.

- Accoprding to the Haryana government, the internet services in the territorial jurisdiction of Sohna, Pataudi and Manesar sub-divisions of Gurugram district will also remain suspended till August 5.

- At least six people have lost their lives after several parts of Haryana witnessed massive violence on July 31. A mob in Nuh district tried to stop a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession by pelting stones and setting cars on fire.

- On Wednesday, the situation remained tense as state police and Central Security personnel marched flags through the affected areas. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar sought four more companies of central forces to restore peace in the state.

- The Supreme Court asked Central and state governments to deploy heavy force to ensure tight security and the installation of CCTV cameras in sensitive areas. The order from the top court came into view as Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) held a protest over Haryana violence.

- Earlier, the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) wrote to the Haryana administration seeking an investigation into the alleged use of children in stone pelting during the communal unrest in Nuh district.

- Following the violent clash in Nuh, section 144 has been imposed and mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended in the district. Communal clash in Haryana brought sharp criticism from Congress as the party termed violence an "administrative failure".
