In a distressing and outrageous incident, cleaning supervisors at Maharshi Dayanand University in Haryana's Rohtak allegedly forced sanitation workers to undress and get their pads photographed to prove that they were menstruating after they reported late to duty.
The incident has led to widespread outrage, and a protest broke out outside the campus after a few women alleged that they were subjected to such an outrageous incident.

The alleged incident unfolded on October 26 when two women employees arrived late for duty on the university campus. As per the report by the Indian Express, Varsity Registrar Krishnan Kant said an "internal inquiry has been initiated and those found guilty will not be spared."
According to the women, the incident started when their supervisors, Vinod and Jitendra, pulled them for coming late to the campus. When the staffers explained they were menstruating and unwell, the supervisors called them liars and reportedly demanded they undress to prove it.
As per the women, the supervisors then asked another female staff member to take them to the washroom and click a picture of their sanitary pads to prove whether they were really bleeding or lying.
"They said you click photos of your private parts as proof so that the menstrual cycle can be confirmed. When two of us refused to follow the instructions, we were abused and threatened with dismissal," women were quoted as saying in the report.
"A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the two supervisors. The FIR includes charges under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for sexual harassment, assault or use of criminal force with intent to disrobe and outrage a woman's modesty, criminal intimidation, and acts intended to insult the modesty of a woman," Station House Officer at PGIMS police station Roshan Lal was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.
