Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy experienced a sudden nose bleeding while addressing a press conference in Bengaluru on Sunday. Following the deterioration in the health, the Janata Dal Secular leader was rushed to a nearby hospital, ANI reported. In a video shared by news agency ANI on social media website X, Kumaraswamy was seen profusely bleeding from his nose. He was seen trying to block the blood flow with a piece of cloth while his white shirt was drenched in blood.
Kumaraswamy was taken to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagara and currently undergoing treatment, reported News18. According to his office, the leader is currently doing fine. According to an Indian Express report, Kumaraswamy's bleeding was attributed to a medication he is already taking.
Earlier today, a coordination meeting of Karnataka NDA allies - BJP and JDS - took place in Bengaluru. In the meeting, a strategy to amplify the alleged MUDA scam was finalised and a decision was taken to take out a foot march from Bengaluru to Mysore against the ruling Congress government.
The march will begin next Saturday, taking seven days to reach Mysore. It will start on August 3 and end on August 10.
H.D. Kumaraswamy has been active in various events since the morning. He first visited a temple in Nanjangud town, then traveled to Mysuru for meetings and a press conference. In the afternoon, he reached Bengaluru to attend a meeting with BJP and JD-S leaders. During a media address with former Karnataka CM B.S. Yediyurappa, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Karnataka BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra, and Opposition leader R. Ashoka, Kumaraswamy unexpectedly experienced a nosebleed.
