New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Suspecting a murder, the Hyderabad Police on Wednesday found the dead body of a senior scientist in his apartment in Hyderabad. The scientist was working with the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
Identified as S Suresh, who was 56-year-old, was allegedly murdered by unidentified persons inside his apartment at Annapurna Apartments in Ameerpet area in the heart of the Hyderabad, as reported by news agency IANS.

The scientist, S Suresh originally hails from Kerala and lives alone in a flat in Annapurna Apartments in Hyderabad. When he did not report to the office on Tuesday, his colleagues tried to contact him on his mobile phone, but to their surprise, there was no response from his side. Getting no response from him, his colleagues alerted his wife Indira, who is a bank employee in Chennai.
After receiving the information from Suresh’s colleagues, his wife Indira along with other family members rushed to Hyderabad and informed the police. After the family members and police reached his flat and broke open his flat they found dead lying on the floor.
According to the Hyderabad Police, S Suresh was hit by a heavy object on his head which ultimately resulted in his death. The body was later transferred to the hospital for an autopsy.

The police investigation team gathered clues from the spot of the death and are scanning the CCTV footage of the apartment complex to get a better view of the incident. Senior Police officials also visited the site.
Suresh and wife Indira have a son who settled in the United States of America and a daughter who lives in New Delhi. Both Suresh and his wife were living and working in Hyderabad for 20 long years before his wife Indira was transferred to Chennai in 2005.
