IMD Weather Forecast: As cold continues to intensify across India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a cold wave alert for western Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan until November 15. Meanwhile, heavy rain is expected in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry over the next two days.

Heavy Rain In Next 24 Hours

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is expected over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Isolated light rain is possible over interior and northern Tamil Nadu, southern Kerala, and Lakshadweep.

Cold Wave To Hit THESE States

Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are likely in some areas of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Jharkhand. Light to moderate fog is likely over Northeast India, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan, and parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Delhi remained the most polluted city in the country on Wednesday. Jind also equaled Delhi with the same AQI. However, Noida came in second with an AQI of 408, and Rohtak came in third with an AQI of 406.

Snowfall Expected In Uttarakhand-Himachal

IMD has forecast snowfall in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Heavy snowfall is expected in Lahaul-Spiti and Manali, especially. Meanwhile, a cold wave is expected in Chamoli, Nainital, Mussoorie, and Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand.

UP-Bihar Weather

Rain activity is not expected in either Bihar or Uttar Pradesh. Light fog is expected in the morning in these states along with cloud cover. A sudden drop in temperatures is also likely during the night. A cold wave is expected in northwestern Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
