Operation Sindoor Live Updates: In a pre-dawn operation named Operation Sindoor, Indian Armed Forces struck nine terror targets—four in Pakistan (including Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot) and five in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK). The mission, carried out jointly by the Army, Navy, and Air Force using precision-guided munitions, aimed at eliminating key Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives behind cross-border terrorism. The Operation Sindoor was closely monitored throughout the night by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ANI reported, citing sources, and all targets were successfully hit. The Defence Ministry stated that the action was "focused, measured, and non-escalatory," with no Pakistani military assets targeted. The strikes were aimed at dismantling terror infrastructure and targeting top leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), both of which have been implicated in planning and directing terrorist activities against India.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Defence clarified that the operation was "focused, measured, and non-escalatory in nature," adding that no Pakistani military installations were targeted. "India has exercised significant restraint in both the selection of targets and the execution of the mission," the statement said.
