India is all set to begin the export of ground systems for BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles in the next 10 days, an official said on Thursday. The cruise missiles are expected to be sent by March this year, DRDO Chairman Dr Samir V Kamat said as quoted by news agency ANI.

"...We are also receiving interest for BrahMos, we have exported to the Philippines and we are receiving interest for other countries," Kamat said.

On the export of ground systems for BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles to the Philippines, DRDO Chairman said, "The ground systems should be sent very soon, in the next 10 days. The missiles, hopefully, will go by March to the Philippines."

India To Get ATAGS  Soon 

Speaking on ATAGS (Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System), the DRDO Chairman said, ATAGS has already finished all trials, and the order should be placed before March 31. 

"ATAGS has already finished all trials. I estimate that the order should be placed in this financial year, before March 31, for 307 guns," he said.
