Amid the operational dilemma plaguing major airports in India due to the cancellation of a large number of flights by IndiGo, SpiceJet has stepped up its operations to fill the vacuum created by IndiGo’s delayed services. The Indian air carrier decided to operate an additional 29 services from Delhi and Mumbai, covering most of the domestic circuit. Additionally, the airline will also run services to major international destinations like Dubai and Bangkok.

SpiceJet will start 14 new flights from Mumbai, while 15 new flights will start from Delhi. For international passengers, SpiceJet will start the following flights:
- Mumbai ➜ Dubai 10:55 pm
- Delhi ➜ Dubai 7:20 pm
- Delhi ➜ Bangkok 9:05 pm
In a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, SpiceJet wrote, “We have added additional departures from Delhi and Mumbai today for your convenience.” The post also had details, along with specific flight numbers of the various flights that will be run by the airline today, December 5.

How To Get An Online Refund For Your Cancelled Flight?
For many who do not wish to travel by SpiceJet, the option of a refund is also available. Here is a step-by-step process of the same:
- Step 1: Visit the IndiGo website or the mobile app and go to the Manage Booking option.
- Step 2: Enter your PNR and last name to check if your flight is cancelled.
- Step 3: Choose the Cancel Booking option and choose your refund method (original payment or credit shell), review details, and confirm.
- Step 4: The amount will be refunded to the original payment method (minus refund fees if any), within 5-7 business days.
Note: In case the refund is not reflected in your account, or you do not receive an email detailing the amount refunded by the airline, reach out to IndiGo customer support via the app, website, or call centre. For tickets booked through a third-party app or agency, the refund will be initiated by the respective organisation. In case of any problems regarding the refund, contact the travel operator directly.
