IndiGo Refund Policy: IndiGo’s flight operations have been disrupted for the third straight day, leading to widespread cancellations and delays that have impacted thousands of passengers nationwide. On Thursday alone, more than 200 flights were cancelled across major airports, following at least 150 cancellations on Wednesday. The disruptions stem from crew shortages and changes in roster rules, which have made it difficult for the airline to allocate sufficient crew under the updated duty and rest requirements for pilots.
The airline has said it is taking “systematic efforts” to restore normal operations within 48 hours. IndiGo is also issuing refunds to passengers affected by cancellations.
Here are the updated cancellation rules that determine the refund amount passengers are eligible to receive when a flight is cancelled:
Steps To Get A Refund After Cancellation Of Flight Tickets?
1. Passengers on cancelled IndiGo flights can claim a full refund.
2. They may also opt for an alternative flight at their convenience.
3. A credit shell option is available for future travel.
