A flight from Indore to Bhubaneswar was delayed by over an hour on Monday after a “minor technical snag” was detected just before take-off, airport officials confirmed. The IndiGo flight, carrying 140 passengers, was preparing for departure when the issue was noticed.
According to Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport director Vipin Kant Seth, pilots of flight number 6E 6332 identified a technical problem as the aircraft was heading towards the runway. “The plane was brought back to the apron. After engineers rectified the minor technical snag, the flight left for its destination,” he told PTI.
Seth added that the passengers remained on board during the repair process and were not asked to deboard. However, he did not provide further details about the nature of the snag.
Another airport official mentioned that the flight, originally scheduled to depart at 9:00 am, eventually took off at 10:16 am after engineers completed the necessary checks and repairs.

The apron area, where the aircraft was parked for maintenance, is typically used for servicing, refuelling, and boarding or deboarding passengers. Despite the delay, all 140 passengers were safely transported to Bhubaneswar after the issue was resolved.
