Bengaluru News: A Bengaluru auto driver stole the show by watching a podcast by Naval Ravikant, a renowned Indian-origin entrepreneur and investor, while navigating through the city's traffic. The unexpected moment was captured in a photo shared on social media, which quickly racked up nearly 80,000 views and sparked widespread admiration for the driver's multitasking skills.
A misleading video has landed a social media content creator in legal trouble after Bengaluru police arrested him for a fake claim of rising violence in Bengaluru and defaming the city. A 36-year-old content creator, S Shahajahan Shareef, a resident of Avalahalli and originally from Chikkamagaluru, made a video claiming that violent incidents were on the rise in Bengaluru.
As per the police, video was shared earlier this month, showing a group of individuals recklessly driving a car in an apparent attempt to run over pedestrians, the Times of India reported. With footage posted on various social media platforms, Shahjahan asserted that the video was from Bengaluru, and there was a rise in such violent incidents in the city.

Here's What Happened
- The disturbing footage quickly went viral, raising concerns among online viewers. Yet, despite its impact, some users raised questions about the video's genuineness and the location shown, sparking a debate about its authenticity.
- Led by social media users’ doubts, the social media monitoring team at the Pulikeshinagar Police Station launched a probe. It was revealed in the investigation that the video was neither recent nor local. It was nearly two years old and originated in Uttar Pradesh.
- In response, the police have taken action by registering a criminal case under BNS Section 353, which pertains to statements causing public mischief.

- Police traced Shahjahan at an NGO in Malleswaram, and when she was asked to produce evidence to prove her claim, she failed to do so, the report added.
