The lineup features four models: the standard iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Plus and the high-end iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Notably, Apple plans to start assembling the Pro Series in India for the first time, although these models will be available later.
According to a Hindustan Times report, for the first time, Apple is offering the Pro series at lower prices than previous versions, thanks to a reduction in import duties. The iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,900, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is priced at Rs 1,44,900. In comparison, last year’s iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max launched at starting prices of Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,59,900, respectively.
