IRCTC Tour Package: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special 18-day "3 Dham and 11 Jyotirlinga" tour via its Bharat Gaurav Deluxe tourist train.
The train, scheduled to depart from Safdarjung Railway Station on September 3, will allow tourists to visit 11 sacred Jyotirlingas, three holy shrines, and several other major religious sites.
Coach Composition Of Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train
- According to a report by Jagran.com, the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe tourist train is fully air-conditioned and comprises First AC, Second AC, and Third AC coaches.
- The train is equipped with a host of modern amenities, including two state-of-the-art restaurants, a modern kitchen, individual shower cubicles, and sensor-based washrooms in each coach.
- Additionally, the train is equipped with foot massagers for passenger comfort, CCTV camera surveillance for safety, and advanced security systems, including dedicated security guards for each coach.
'3 Dham And 11 Jyotirlinga': Check Itinerary
Passengers will be able to visit 11 Jyotirlingas, three holy shrines, and several other major religious sites.
- Three Dhams: Jagannathpuri, Rameshwaram and Dwarkadhish Temple.
- 11 Jyotirlingas: Kashi Vishwanath (Varanasi), Baidyanath Dham (Devghar), Mallikarjuna, Bhimashankar, Ghrishneshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Nageshwar, Somnath, Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain), Omkareshwar, and Kedarnath.
- Cultural Sites: The magnificent, UNESCO World Heritage site Kailash Temple at Ellora, the historic Panchavati in Nashik and the legendary ruins of Dhanushkodi.

The train is scheduled to depart from Delhi's Safdarjung Railway Station on September 3. It will arrive in Varanasi on the second day, where passengers will explore the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and its grand Corridor, followed by a boat ride. The train then heads to Jasdih, where they will get a chance to visit Baidyanath Dham.
On the fourth day, the train reaches Puri on the Odisha coast, where pilgrims will visit the sacred Jagannath Temple and Puri Beach. After an overnight stay, the tour will head to Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga.
After Mallikarjuna, the next stop is Rameshwaram to visit the historic Ramanathaswamy Temple (the second Dham of the tour). The tour includes a visit to several other major religious sites sites such as Dhanushkodi and the Vibhishana Temple, before heading towards Sahyadri Hills to visit Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga.
After an overnight stay and darshan in Pune, the train will proceed to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to explore the Kailash Temple and Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga at Ellora. The train will then head to Nashik, where passengers will be able to visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga and the sacred sites of Panchavati. From here, the train will depart for the final dham, Dwarka.
On the 14th day, pilgrims will visit Dwarkadhish Temple early in the morning, followed by Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Bet Dwarka. The train will then proceed to Somnath, where travellers will visit the iconic Somnath Temple, the local beach, and the Bhalka Shrine.
Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain will be the next and final stop. After visiting the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain, pilgrims will visit Omkareshwar, the 11th and final Jyotirlinga of the tour, situated on the banks of the Narmada River.
On the 18th day, the train will arrive at Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi.

The 18-day tour package is priced at Rs 1,98,010 for AC First Class, Rs 1,81,995 for AC Second Class, and Rs 1,49,965 for AC Third Class. This includes train fare, accommodation in three-star hotels, vegetarian food during the journey, travel by AC vehicles from the station to temples and other tourist places, accident insurance and service charges of the IRCTC travel manager.
