Dainik Jagran and Vishvas News, in collaboration with Google, will organise a webinar for the people of UP's Saharanpur and Ayodhya on December 9 under its prestigious 'Digikavach' program. This program is being carried out under the campaign 'Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Sach ke Sathi' campaign. The event will be organised especially for senior citizens, in which they will be trained in digital safety.
Cybercrime is also increasing with the increasing use of mobile phones. Cybercriminals mostly target senior citizens. This campaign is being run to make them aware. In the program, experts from Vishvas News will tell people about the types of online scams and how to avoid them. Lions Club Saharanpur Mayur and Ayushman Foundation in Ayodhya are collaborating in the webinar in Saharanpur.
About the Program
Teams of Jagran Digital and Vishvas News are providing training through seminars and webinars across the country as part of the 'Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi' campaign. Under this, training is being given in 30 cities of 20 states of the country.
Apart from Uttar Pradesh, this program is being organised in 20 states, including Gujarat, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Punjab and Uttarakhand. It trains people to recognize and avoid online scams. Google's 'Digikavach' campaign is raising awareness among people against online fraud in India. The aim of this campaign is to make people aware of fraud and scams.
