Google, in collaboration with Dainik Jagran and Vishvas News, will organise a seminar in Himmatnagar, Gujarat, on Friday, November 21, as part of its prestigious 'DigiKavach' program. This program is being held as part of the "Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi" campaign. Organised specifically for senior citizens, this program will provide them with digital safety training.
Cybercrime is on the rise year after year, and fraudsters are increasingly targeting senior citizens. This campaign is being launched to raise awareness among people. Vishvas News experts will educate senior citizens about the types of online scams and how to avoid them. They will also be given tips on keeping their Google and social media accounts secure.
About the Program
Under the 'Digital Safety of Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi' campaign, teams from Jagran Digital and Vishvas News are providing training through seminars and webinars across the country. Training is being conducted in 30 cities across 20 states.
In addition to Gujarat, similar programs are being organized in 20 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Punjab, and Uttarakhand. People are being trained to recognize and avoid online scams. Google's "DigiKavach" campaign is raising awareness about online fraud in India.
