Google, in collaboration with Dainik Jagran and Vishvas News, is organising a webinar on Wednesday for senior citizens in Delhi-NCR under its prestigious 'DigiKavach' programme, titled 'Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi'. The aim is to protect senior citizens from online fraud and scams and educate them about the importance of digital safety. On October 15, fact-checkers will train senior citizens in New Delhi, Gurugram and Noida. They will inform about the ways to stay safe online and provide tips on how to avoid digital fraud.

The webinar for Gurugram is being supported by Literacy India and by the 24*7 Care Foundation in Delhi, while the webinar for senior citizens in Noida is being supported by the Inspiring Seniors Foundation.

About the Program

Under the 'Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Sach Ke Sathi' campaign, teams from Jagran Digital and Vishvas News are providing training through seminars and webinars across the country. Training is being conducted in 30 cities across 20 states. In addition to Delhi, similar programs are being organised in 20 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Punjab and Uttarakhand. People are being trained to identify and avoid online scams. Google's 'DigiKavach' campaign is raising awareness against online fraud in India.
