The matter came to light on Friday when the man did not pick up anyone's call following which his friend sent someone to the flat to enquire.

The deceased was identified as Dharmendra, a bank employee and his wife Suman, who was the homemaker. When Dharmendra did not reach his office and did not pick phone calls, a friend sent a family member to the flat. When the doors were opened, the couple were found dead on the floor.

Couple Had Altercation Day Before Death

CCTV footage at thier resident's parking area showed that the couple were arguing and the woman was seen attempting to stop her husband from driving away. Another frame of the video showed that Dharmendra did not go away and started speaking to her.

Police Probing Murder Angle Too

The police said they are probing all the angles in the case after woman's father Ajay Singh alleged that there were injury marks on the his daughter's body, which raises suspicion. He demanded the police should also probe murder angle.

Muhana SHO Gurbhupendra Singh said that Dharmendra Chaudhary (45) and his wife Suman (41) were found dead in their flat on Friday.

Dharmendra's body was hanging and Suman's was lying on the bed. Her body also had marks on the neck, which indicates that she had also hanged herself, police said.

"It appears that during the night hours, Suman hanged herself and committed suicide. When her husband saw her, he took her down from the noose. After finding her dead, he also committed suicide by hanging himself," he said.
