Jaipur Gas Tanker Explosion: A tragic accident took place on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway on Friday when an LPG tanker collided with a truck, sparking a massive explosion. The incident claimed the lives of 14 people, set 37 vehicles ablaze, and left behind horrific accounts of survival. In one such heart-wrenching tale, a motor mechanic, badly burned in the blast, walked 600 meters through the flames, desperately seeking help after the explosion. However, bystanders filmed the scene instead of providing help.

Radheshyam Chaudhary, a 32-year-old motor mechanic employed at National Bearings Company Limited, departed from his home on his motorbike early Friday morning.

A stranger reportedly contacted Radheshyam Chaudhary's brother, Akheram, informing him that Radheshyam was in trouble and asking him to come to the Heerapura bus terminal. Akheram immediately went there with two of his neighbours.

"My brother was lying on the road. People told me he walked nearly 600 metres from the explosion site. He was crying for help as he struggled down the road. But instead of helping, most bystanders just made videos,” Akheram was quoted as saying by Times of India.

Following this, Radheshyam Chaudhary's brother and two neighbours rushed him to the hospital in a car, realizing that waiting for an ambulance amid the chaos would be pointless.

During the journey, Radheshyam remained conscious and shared everything that had happened on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway. He recounted how he had given Akheram’s number to a stranger, who later contacted him with the news.

Radheshyam left his bike and attempted to escape the flames, but they quickly overtook him. Despite this, he managed to reach a man who assisted him in contacting his brother.

The mechanic was rushed to Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur, where several accident victims were already admitted. Akheram thought his brother would survive the ordeal. "But with 85% burns, his chance of survival was a thread that snapped,” Akheram said.
