  3. Police have registered case based on homeowner's complaint.

A shocking incident has come to light from Jaipur, Rajasthan where a woman allegedly committed theft inside a house and then attempted to frame the house owner to avoid police action. The case was exposed after CCTV footage revealed the entire sequence of events.

Woman Threatens To Tear Her Clothes

According to police, they had received a complaint a few days earlier about theft of jewellery and cash worth around Rs 7 lakh from the house. Following the incident, the owner installed CCTV cameras for security and monitoring. On Thursday, while the family was out, they checked the CCTV footage on their mobile phone. The footage showed a woman entering the bedroom and opening a cupboard. She took out a small box, placed it on the bed and inspected its contents, which mostly contained jewellery.

The owner immediately called a neighbour to inform them about the incident, got the main gate locked and rushed back home. The woman, who was trapped inside the house, then confronted the owner and his neighbour. In a video recorded by the owner, the woman can be heard saying, “I will tear my clothes. The police will arrest you.”

Case Registered

The situation was brought under control after officers reached the spot following information from the owner. Based on the owner’s complaint, the police have registered a case against her and initiated further investigation.

In a separate incident, earlier on June 28, a robbery attempt was foiled at the residence of Giribala Singh, a retired judge and key accused in the death case of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal. The incident took place during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday when unidentified thieves entered the house through the back door. They stole gold jewellery along with a file containing important documents related to Giribala and Samarth Singh.

However, their escape was cut short when the Charlie police unit, which was patrolling the area, noticed suspicious activity and foiled the theft attempt.
