Samajwadi Party MP and veteran actor Jaya Bachchan once again lost her temper in public, this time at Delhi’s Constitution Club on Tuesday. A video now circulating widely on social media shows her pushing away a man who attempted to take a selfie with her. In the clip, she’s heard saying, “Kya kar rahe hai aap? What is this?”
Standing nearby was Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, who glanced over after the incident and then walked toward the Club building.
This isn’t the first time Bachchan has publicly expressed anger. During a recent special session in Parliament on Operation Sindoor, she lashed out at treasury bench members for interrupting her speech, saying, “Either you speak or I will speak.” Even Priyanka Chaturvedi, seated beside her, was mildly reprimanded when Bachchan snapped, “Priyanka, don’t control me,” after Chaturvedi made a calming gesture.

In another incident last year, Bachchan took offense when Rajya Sabha Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar introduced her as “Jaya Amitabh Bachchan.” She responded sharply, stating, "I Jaya Amitabh Bachchan want to say this that I am an artist and I understand body language and expressions. And sir, your tone is not acceptable. We are colleagues sir, you may be sitting on the Chair."
Bachchan, who is married to legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, has also made headlines in the past for her frequent run-ins with paparazzi.
