Jagran Correspondent, Chatra: A man accused of kidnapping and raping a minor girl of the Scheduled Caste in Jharkhand's Chatra district was brutally beaten to death by the local crowd. As per the reports, a tense situation has developed in the village since the deceased and minor girl belonged to different communities. The officials, while providing details, stated that a large number of officials have been deployed in the region to maintain the law and order.
Deceased's Parents Injured
The reports suggest that the deceased's parents also got injured after the crowd attacked the house. While describing the incident, Superintendent of Police Animesh Naithani stated that the situation is gradually returning to normal. He further stated that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
As per the complaint filed by the minor's father, she went outside her home earlier on Monday and was reportedly kidnapped by Imroz Ansari. He further took the minor to his residence and allegedly raped her and asked her to remain silent. However, the girl managed to escape the scene earlier on Tuesday and informed her family about the incident.

The family members and other village members got angry upon listening to the incident and launched an attack at Imroz's home. He was reportedly dragged out of his home and brutally beaten by the crowd, leaving him severely injured. Upon receiving the information, Tandwa police arrived at the scene; however, the situation could not be immediately brought under control due to the angry mob.
The police somehow managed to rescue Imroz and took him to the Community Health Center for treatment. The doctors referred him to Hazaribagh; however, he succumbed to the injuries. A detailed probe has been launched into the matter, and the officials are identifying the attackers based on video footage and other evidence.
