Seven Key Guidelines For Safety And Hygiene:

- It will be mandatory to provide strong boundary walls, gates and security fences in all schools to prevent entry of stray dogs.

- Each school will appoint a nodal officer to oversee campus cleanliness and dog control. Their name and contact details will be displayed at the school's main entrance and submitted to the local municipal body.

- Awareness sessions will be organised for students and teachers on how to stay safe around animals, first aid for dog bites and the process of reporting immediately.

- There will be proper arrangements for disposal of waste (especially food remains) in schools, so that stray animals are not attracted towards the premises due to the lure of food.

- School-level inspections will be conducted every three months to ensure that stray dogs do not reside on the campus.

- Regular monitoring and reporting mechanisms will be in place to ensure a safe and secure environment.

- A report on compliance with safety standards, along with the total number of educational institutions in the district, will be prepared and sent to the state headquarters.
