Jharkhand Weather Forecast: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the next four days in Jharkhand. During this period, there is a possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms along with rain in the southern parts of the state.
As per IMD, there may be heavy rain at some places in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega and Saraikela-Kharsawan districts between August 10 and 13. During this period, the wind speed is likely to reach 30 to 40 kilometres per hour.
On Saturday, Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 34.7 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather body, there will be no major change in the temperature in the next six days. The rain will continue amidst humidity and light sunshine during the day. According to experts, the weather may remain like this for the next few days due to the activation of monsoon.
In case of heavy rainfall, waterlogging in low lying areas may occur and traffic may be affected, therefore people have been advised to stay alert.
