Jharkhand Weather: Jharkhand's capital Ranchi and surrounding districts remained cloudy on Tuesday. The Meteorological Center, Ranchi has issued a yellow alert for lightning along with a drop in temperature. In the forecast, it has been said that apart from the southern parts of the state i.e. East and West Singhbhum, Simdega and Saraikela Kharsawan, a warning of strong storm and lightning has been issued in the north-eastern parts i.e. Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Giridih and Sahibganj as well as the adjacent central parts.

There is a possibility of thunderstorms along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in many parts of Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Bokaro and Khunti. A yellow alert has been issued in this regard.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand warned the people of these districts not to go out of their homes without a reason when the weather turns bad, as there is a high possibility of lightning. He added that the sky will be clear on May 7,8 and 9 and the weather will remain dry, jagran.com reported

In Jharkhand, during the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was witnessed along with thunder and lightning at many places in the state, while hailstorm was also witnessed at some places. The highest rainfall of 23.8 mm was recorded in Jari of Gumla.

The highest maximum temperature of 37.2 degree Celsius was recorded in Garhwa and the lowest minimum temperature of 15.7 degree Celsius was recorded in Gumla. The capital Ranchi recorded a maximum of 32.5 degree Celsius and a minimum of 19.2 degree Celsius.
