- In observance of Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1, government offices, schools and many private businesses across Karnataka will remain closed tomorrow.
- However, essential services, including hospitals, emergency transport, and online banking, will continue to operate without interruption.
- As per the Reserve Bank of India’s official holiday list, November 1 is marked as a public holiday for all banks in Karnataka.
- Several banks, such as SBI, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank, have announced that their physical branches will not be open on November 1, following the RBI’s official holiday list for the state.
Igas Bagwal: Banks To Remain Closed In Uttarakhand On November 1
Banks across Dehradun will remain closed on Saturday, November 1, in observance of Igas Bagwal, also known as Budhi Deepawali.
The festival, which falls on Kartik Shukla Ekadashi, the 11th day after Deepawali, is one of Uttarakhand’s most cherished folk celebrations marked by traditional rituals, cultural gatherings, and local festivities.
