Bengaluru Weather: A low-pressure area forming over the Bay of Bengal is expected to bring rainfall to Karnataka over the next few days. This weather system is generating moisture-laden winds, leading to rain across various districts. Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Chitradurga, Kolar and Ramanagara are under a yellow alert until December 13, while Dakshina Kannada and Udupi are forecasted to experience heavy rain through December 14.

GS Patil, an IMD scientist, explained that the cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal is enhancing moisture levels, resulting in moderate to heavy rainfall, particularly in coastal and southern districts. "We anticipate widespread rainfall across the state," he added.
