Karnataka Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday stated that the coastal region of Karnataka is set to witness heavy rain in the upcoming few days. The weather department stated that apart from the coastal region, several other districts are also expected to receive light to moderate rainfall till June 4. It added that while the rainfall will provide relief from heat, it will lead to other issues like waterlogging and power outages. The weather department has advised the residents to limit their outings and follow the guidelines to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the weather department stated that Bengaluru is likely to witness light rain along with a gentle breeze on Saturday and in the next few days. It added that while the maximum temperature is expected to be calculated at 27 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is likely to remain around 21 degrees Celsius. The weather department has advised the residents of Silicon City to carry umbrellas and plan their day accordingly.

Bengaluru: Weather Forecast For Next Few Days

June 1: Light rain along with cloudy skies is expected

June 2: Moderate rainfall in the late hours of the day

June 3: Some parts of the city will receive rainfall

June 4: Moderate rainfall expected; maximum temperature expected to be calculated around 29 degrees Celsius

June 5: Light rain expected in the late hours of the day

The weather department stated that the coastal regions of the state, including Udupi and Dakshin Kannada, are expected to witness heavy rain in the upcoming few days. Apart from Karnataka, rain alerts have also been issued for other states, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Bengal. The weather department has also advised the travellers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
