Amid a fierce election campaign for the Delhi assembly election, AAP's convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, on Saturday slammed the BJP and Congress and accused them of working together to malign his image. The remarks from ex-Delhi CM came amid protests from Punjab women in front of his Delhi residence.
Kejriwal advised Congress to not worry about the Aam Aadmi Party and focus on themselves. He further stated that the BJP and Congress should officially announce that they are holding elections together.
"Congress should not worry about us," Kejriwal said. "Those women belong to their (Congress and BJP) party. They have not come from Punjab; the women in Punjab are with us. They have faith in AAP. Congress and BJP should officially announce that they are contesting elections together against AAP in Delhi," Kejriwal told reporters. He further urged the voters to not take Congress seriously ahead of the polls.
Kejriwal claimed that the AAP government has delivered all its promises and is willing to do more for the people of Delhi. However, he accepted that many people got the bills for water while he was in jail, but he assured that the party will waive off those "wrong" bills.
"I want to publicly and officially announce that those who think their bills are wrong, they need not pay. Wait for the elections; AAP will form the government, and we will waive off those wrong bills," Kejriwal promised.

Earlier on Friday, Congress pointed out that the AAP did not fulfill its promises made to women in Punjab, and they will do the same thing in Delhi too. "Just like AAP deceived the women of Punjab, they are now planning to deceive the women of Delhi," Congress said in a statement.
The grand old party claimed that the growth rate of the state was better when they were in power. While the ruling Aam Aadmi Party is looking for a hat trick of landslide victories, the Congress is contesting to end the drought of victories and bring back their golden days.
