Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has told the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that the accused Vijay Nair, who turned government approver in the liquor policy case, never reported to him but to Delhi minister Atishi, the Central agency told the court as reported by Bar and Bench. According to media reports, Kejriwal also named Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj during the questioning by the ED in the excise policy case.
Vijay Nair is the former communication-in-charge of the AAP, who is also an accused in the case. The Rouse Avenue court in Delhi sent Arvind Kejriwal to 15-day judicial custody after his 10-day ED custody ended today.
AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal was on March 21 arrested by the Enforcement Directorate, which alleged that the Delhi CM was a key conspirator in the money laundering case linked with the Delhi Excise Policy scam.
The federal probe agency alleged Kejriwal had not cooperated in the investigation. The officials said he did not share his phone password with the agency.
Kejriwal was produced before Special Judge Kaweri Baweja of the Rouse Avenue Court on the expiry of his previously extended Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody. Speaking to reporters before entering court, the AAP leader said, "Whatever the prime minister is doing(referring to his arrest) is not good for the country".
The AAP supremo moved an application to have three books --Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana and How Prime Ministers Decide--during his judicial custody.

Besides, the Delhi High Court has asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to submit its note before the special judge on the issue of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal passing orders while in custody. The federal probe agency said it has not made any such arrangements for Kejriwal in custody.
