Kerala Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that several districts of Kerala are set to witness rainfall at least till Saturday. The weather department asserted that along with rainfall, the coastal regions are also expected to receive thunderstorms and lightning. The continuous rain will provide relief from heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and plan their days accordingly.

The weather department stated that several districts of Kerala, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Kozhikode, are likely to witness rainfall at least till May 16. The continuous rainfall is likely to lead to waterlogging in the lower regions, leading to inconveniences to the residents.
