Kolkata Airport: An IndiGo flight from Kolkata to Shillong received bomb threat on Saturday, leading to panic among the passengers and the authorities. While providing details, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport director stated that the crew members found a piece of paper inside the aircraft's toilet compartment during boarding. He further stated that the passengers were removed from the aircraft after, adding that checking process is underway.

"Bomb scare in Kolkata to Shillong IndiGo 6E3074, which was scheduled to depart at 9:15 AM, from Kolkata Airport. The aircraft has been moved to the isolation bay. During boarding, crew members found a piece of paper inside the aircraft's toilet compartment, which stated that there was a bomb inside the aircraft," Kolkata Airport Director informed.

"Immediately afterwards, passengers were removed from the aircraft. Checking process is going on," he added.  Earlier on February 13, at least three schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails, prompting authorities to launch search operations, a Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said. One of the schools that received a bomb threat was BT Tamil School, in central Delhi's Jhandewalan.

The DFS revealed the threat at around 9:12 am, as authorities have launched thorough inspections following receipt of alerts.In a message to parents, another school said, "Dear Parents, this morning the school received a security threat. As a precautionary measure, the police are in school for necessary security measures. All students have been evacuated safely. Once the school is declared safe, classes will be resumed".
