Kolkata Metro Railway Recruitment 2024: Kolkata Metro Railway invites online applications for 128 Apprentice posts. The recruitment drive aims to fill positions across the following trades:

- Fitter: 82 posts
- Electrician: 28 posts
- Machinist: 9 posts
- Welder:  9 posts

Eligibility and Selection Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates must hold a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.

Age Limit: Applicants must be between 15 and 24 years of age.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on merit, which is determined using the data provided in the online application form. The merit list will be prepared by averaging the percentage marks obtained in matriculation and ITI examinations, with equal weightage given to both.
