Lakhnadon-Raipur Expressway: Madhya Pradesh will get a six-lane Greenfield Expressway soon. The National Highway Authority of India is doing a survey of the project, at present. Earlier, Union Road Transport & Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari gave green signal to the initiative to connect Jabalpur with the four-lane Lakhnadon-Raipur expressway.

This will bring new opportunities and boost connectivity. The route will make the journey of the commuters very comfortable. The expressway will add to the economic growth of the state.

Lakhnadon-Raipur Expressway: About The Project

The length of this expressway is 300-km. It will reduce travel time significantly. The estimated cost of the project is approximately Rs 15,000 crore. The expressway will solve the problem of traffic congestion, once it is operational.

Lakhnadon-Raipur Expressway: Connectivity

The Lakhnadon-Raipur Expressway will begin from Lakhnadon and will end at Raipur. The expressway will cross Visakhapatnam. According to media reports. the 8 hour journey will get reduced to 5 hours.

About Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway

A section of the Bengaluru-Chennai expressway is open to the public. The length of the route is 71-km. Currently, the route charges zero toll fee. This section is a part of the expressway which connects Bengaluru to Chennai and vice-versa. The total length of the expressway is 260 km.
