Parliament Security Breach: After the security of parliament was breached by four persons in two separate incidents, the Loksabha speaker Om Birla called a meeting of MPs from all the parties to address their concerns on the issue. The speaker also assured that the security lapse will be thoroughly investigated by the parliament security group and the police.
"The incident that happened today is a topic of concern for all of us & is serious as well. A high-level investigation is being done & accordingly, action will be taken. A comprehensive review will be done regarding the security in the House. House is adjourned till 11:00 am tomorrow," the speaker said while addressing the house after the resumption of proceedings.
At 2 pm, during the resumed House session, Speaker Birla addressed concerns raised by several leaders, including the recent threat video released by designated Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, stating that it would not be right to discuss the issue in the House. Earlier, two intruders jumped inside the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during the proceedings of the Zero Hour and opened smoke canisters spewing yellow smoke inside the House. They were later overpowered by some of the MPs present during the ordeal.
Two other protesters who were demonstrating outside the Parliament, voicing slogans such as 'Tanashahi Nahi Chalegi' also sprayed coloured gas from the canisters. The duo was later arrested by the Delhi police and taken to the Parliament House Police Station. The woman who seemed to have burst a smoke canister spewing yellow-red smoke was later identified as Neelam from Hisar, Haryana, and the man as Anmol Shinde from Latur, Maharashtra. Notably, there's a potential connection between the two incidents, suggesting the involvement of a single group.

During the initial investigation, it was found that the smoke released by the intruders seemed harmless, suggesting that it might have been sprayed for sensationalism. Speaker Birla scheduled a meeting with MPs later in the day, assuring that all concerns would be addressed.
