While the first phase of voting is already underway in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh will go to polls on November 17. Congress and BJP have left no stone unturned in campaigning with both parties playing blame games to ensure victory. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reached Madhya Pradesh's Sidhi on Tuesday after campaigning for elections in Chhatisgarh.

Addressing a rally in Sidhi, PM Modi said, "Congress promoted only those who attended the Delhi Darbar. Congress never allowed the talented leadership of SC, ST and OBC communities to emerge. It is their mentality, because of which, they keep abusing Modi day and night. While abusing Modi, they have started abusing the entire OBC community."

Earlier in the day, PM Modi addressed another rally in Chhattisgarh's Surajpur and said whenever Congress comes to power, the courage of terrorists and Naxalites increases in the country.

"Whenever Congress comes to power, the courage of terrorists and Naxalites increases in the country. The Congress government has failed to control Naxal violence. In recent times, many BJP workers have been taken away from us. A few days ago, one of our workers was shot dead," PM Modi said.

Continuing his attack on Congress, PM Modi alleged that Congress tried to stop Droupadi Murmu from becoming the first Tribal President of India.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is also currently in MP, took a swipe at the BJP government and said, "The poor are becoming poorer, unemployment is the highest in 45 years, inflation is sky high and the BJP government is not ready to take responsibility. True patriotism is that you become aware and ask questions."
