Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 Threat: After the threat from Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, another threat has been issued regarding the Maha Kumbh Mela. The threat, shared on Instagram, has spread across the internet. In response, the Maha Kumbh police and cyber crime unit have initiated an investigation, with plans to file charges and take further legal measures.
On Tuesday, a screenshot surfaced on social media from an Instagram account named Nasar Pathan. The post contained derogatory comments about Hindus and a threat concerning the Mahakumbh. Upon reaching police authorities, they took immediate action and initiated an investigation.
It has been reported that the individual who created the Instagram account under that name is the one who sent the threat message, and not a third party. The investigation is ongoing, with cyber police looking into the Instagram ID for further details.
Initial investigation has revealed that the Instagram account named Nasar Pathan has zero followers. However, the police are taking this matter seriously. Prior to this, Khalistani terrorist Pannu had circulated a video, threatening to take revenge at the Mahakumbh. The video from Pannu was released after three terrorists were killed in an encounter in Pilibhit.
Currently, SSP Mahakumbh Rajesh Dwivedi has stated that an investigation is being conducted into the matter. Once the truth is determined, a case will be registered and strict legal action will be taken against the accused.
