In a tragic incident on Tuesday, a man from Punjab’s Moga district allegedly took his own life inside a bank. Before the act, Rajveer Singh recorded a video from the bank’s washroom, accusing Punjab Police AIG Gurjot Singh Kaler and four others of harassment.

The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon when Rajveer visited the bank’s loan department. He later went to the washroom and shot himself with a revolver. The sudden sound of gunfire caused panic inside the bank, and employees found Rajveer lying in a pool of blood.

Police officials arrived at the scene and sent the body to the Civil Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination.

Further into the investigation, police recovered the purported video and registered a case against Kaler and four others for abetment of suicide.

The deceased, Rajveer Singh, owned an immigration company with offices in Phase 11 and Sector 82 of Mohali.
