Republic Day Parade: Keeping the influx of crowds for the Republic Day Parade and potential struggle in view, the Delhi Metro has launched several initiatives to help spectators during the January 26 Parade, which will be held in Delhi. From metro station announcements to QR codes for assistance, Delhi Metro has rolled out multiple measures, PTI said.

People with parking passes can simply scan the QR code printed on their pass to get real-time directions to the nearest parking area from their seating enclosure, and then walk the short distance to their seats.
How Metro Announcement Will Help Visitors
According to officials, commuters will be directed to specific metro stations depending on whether their allotted seating enclosure lies to the north or south of the Kartavya Path. This year, enclosures have been named after rivers.
For example, if spectators have been allotted an enclosure on the southern side, such as Beas, Brahmaputra, Chambal, Chenab, Gandak, Ganga, Ghagra, Godavari, Sindhu and Jhelum, the metro announcement will help them to reach their enclosure, and they will be asked to get down at Udyog Bhawan Metro Station.
Those holding tickets for the northern side, with enclosures including Kaveri, Kosi, Krishna, Mahanadi, Narmada, Pennar, Periyar, Ravi, Son, Satluj, Teesta, Vaigai and Yamuna, are being advised to exit at the Central Secretariat Metro Station.
