Mother Dairy Products New Rate Chart: Mother Dairy on Tuesday announced that it will reduce prices across most of its value-added dairy and processed food products from September 22 after deciding to pass on 100 per cent of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) benefits to consumers.

The revised prices will come into effect immediately and apply to a wide range of everyday items including milk, paneer, butter, ghee, cheese, milkshakes, and ice cream.

Speaking on the development, Mother Dairy MD Manish Bandlish confirmed that the price of UHT (Ultra-Heat Treated) milk has been reduced by Rs 2 per litre, along with notable price cuts across other categories.

The price drop ranges from Rs 2 to Rs 30 depending on the product and pack size. Mother Dairy said that paneer (200 gm pack) will now cost Rs 92 instead of Rs 95, ghee carton pack (1 litre) will fall from Rs 675 to Rs 645, and 100 gm butter will be priced at Rs 58 against Rs 62 earlier.

Milk:
- UHT Toned Milk (1L Tetra Pak): Rs 75 (down from Rs 77)
- UHT Double Toned Milk (450ml pouch): Rs 32 (down from Rs 33)

Paneer:
- Regular Paneer (200g): Rs 92 (was Rs 95)
- Regular Paneer (400g): Rs 174 (was Rs 180)
- Malai Paneer (200g): Rs 97 (was Rs 100)

Butter:
- 500g Pack: Rs 285 (down from Rs 305)
- 100g Pack: Rs 58 (down from Rs 62)

Cheese:
- Cheese Cubes (180g): Rs 135 (down from Rs 145)
- Cheese Slices (480g): Rs 380 (was Rs 405)
- Cheese Block (200g): Rs 140 (down from Rs 150)
- Cheese Spread (180g): Rs 110 (was Rs 120)
- Diced Mozzarella (1kg): Rs 575 (was Rs 610)

Milkshakes:
- All flavours (180ml): Rs 28 (down from Rs 30)

Ghee:
- Ghee Carton Pack (1L): Rs 645 (was Rs 675)
- Ghee Tin (1L): Rs 720 (was Rs 750)
- Ghee Pouch (1L): Rs 645 (was Rs 675)
- Cow Ghee Jar (500ml): Rs 365 (down from Rs 380)
- Premium Gir Cow Ghee (500ml): Rs 984 (was Rs 999)

It is pertinent to note that Pouch Milk - the everyday poly pack milk (Full Cream Milk, Toned Milk, Cow Milk, etc.) - has always been exempted from GST and continues to be so, with no implications on its MRP. 

The company also stated that it aims to make quality dairy products more accessible and affordable, especially as families deal with rising food costs. These new prices are expected to bring much-needed relief to daily household budgets.
