Jagran Correspondent | Gwalior: A 14-year-old girl was raped by her friend's brother in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The accused allegedly threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident to anyone. Police have registered an FIR against the accused.
What Happened With The Victim?
The accused, identified as Lokendra Vishwakarma, allegedly entered the victim's house in her grandmother's absence. He behaved inappropriately with her and sexually abused her. While leaving, the accused threatened to kill her grandmother if she tried to reveal the assault to anybody.
On June 28, the accused contacted her again and told her to meet him near the house. He then took her to a friend's residence in Kalpi Bridge Colony. He raped her once again and threatened her.
Victim Remained Silent For Six Days
The grandmother was worried when the minor was not at home. When the teenager was found missing from home, her grandmother informed the police. The police began searching for her, after which the accused left her near the house. The victim remained terrified for six days.
Following this, Vishwakarma dropped her at the house. The 14-year-old girl soon broke down and revealed that Vishwakarma had been abusing her for some time. The two then went to the police station and lodged an FIR.

In a similar incident, In Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area, a four-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a 23-year-old neighbour. According to the police, the incident took place on Wednesday, August 21, when the young victim was playing with other children in the locality. The accused, identified as Paalak, lured the girl away under the pretext of giving her money. The girl was reported missing for around three hours before being found in a distressed state.
The victim's father immediately informed the police and the child was rushed to the hospital for medical examination and treatment. Police officials have confirmed that the victim is currently with her parents and has been provided with appropriate counselling to help her cope with the trauma.
