Madhya Pradesh: A newborn baby girl with a slit throat was found abandoned in a waste dump in Pachor town, Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday. Passersby heard the baby’s cries and alerted authorities.

Upon arrival, the police rushed the baby to the Civil Hospital. According to Civil Surgeon Dr. PS Parmar, the baby had a deep cut on her throat caused by a sharp object. The newborn, estimated to be just one to two days old, was initially treated and then transferred to Rajgarh District Hospital for further care. Later, the baby was transferred to Bhopal for advanced treatment.

Authorities have registered a case and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify those responsible for this tragic incident. Pachor Police Station In-Charge Akhilesh Verma confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
